How do blogger mommas do it?!

Good morning and happy Monday to you all!! I have a serious question for all the blogging mommas out there! How do you all do it?

I am a mom of three and I work full time outside of the home. I am very passionate about DIY and expressing my self through crafts. I manage to get things done on the evenings when the kids are in bed and on the weekends, but I don’t get to take great photos of my work. Why, you ask?

First of all because natural lighting is not so great because it’s Winter – days are mostly cloudy here in the East. If the sun doesn’t come out, then forget taking great photos. Secondly, some days are just too cold and breezy to step outside of the house. Thirdly, it’s dark outside by the time I get home from work. I honestly daydream about the great outdoors at least once a week everyday while at work.

So how do you all do it? Please share your ideas with me. I really want to get my blog moving forward and make new great friends.

Thank you!

  1. I waited until my kids grew up and left the house, so I’m a terrible one to give advice, except….ha ha…quality is better than quantity. Follow the blogs of those people you truly connect with; take time to build those relationships and enjoy yourself. If it becomes stressful back off a bit. This is supposed to be fun.

  2. Focus on the end product. Find time. I schedule a lot of posts. I am really good about that. I also take breaks as needed, but keep reading and interacting with other bloggers. That keeps your fan base loyal when you have to take a break.
