Quick Flower Vase Makeover | DIY

It always feels good to be able to use spray paint to update just about anything with a nonporous surface. The result is always beautiful and awe-mazing..;)

Yesterday I decided to add some pizzazz to my white ceramic vase I’ve loved and owned for over 3 years. I added a touch of gold paint to the top to brighten it up a bit.

Check out the before and after photos:

I am absolutely in love all over again with this vase.

I also spray painted an upcycled glass jar in gold stripes for the pink peony. Love love love the result.

What is your Design Style?

Do you want decorating ideas tailored to your style?

I found a really cool quiz from Better Homes and Gardens that will help you determine your decorating personality and get ideas that fit your style!

My Design Style is Country French, what’s yours?

As a person with a Country French design style……You are drawn to a rustic but refined style that feels comfortable and livable for today’s families. Your version of Country French style may be rustic (think glazed pottery and chunky woven baskets) or more refined (think gilded details). Either way, patterned fabrics such as toile, stripes, and fleur-de-lis motifs will help you set the tone. Incorporate details such as stucco walls, wrought-iron accents, and furniture with carved details for an old-world look.
