Winter is on it’s way out and Spring is upon us. It’s always nice to be able to bring a little bit of the outdoors inside your living space. I am a lover of the outdoors and I believe there’s no easier way to bring the outdoor indoors than decorating your space with plants, wooden items and natural prints. Natural decor gives your home a peaceful and calming ambience, and who doesn’t want that?
I recently visited a local Home Depot store to buy a few garage organizers and I could not resist spending some time admiring a cluster of plants that were placed not too far from the checkout register. The plant that caught my attention was the fiddle leaf fig plant. It’s beautiful, large, deep green leaves is art on it’s own. I stopped, pulled out my phone to google the plant. I wanted to know the type of care it required for survival. In other words, I wanted to know if it required a lot of work and if it dies easily. It turns out it’s a very low maintainance house plant. Check out more information here. I cannot wait to get my hands on one of those plants. My next project would be to make a mid-century plant stand (similar to this one) for it. I’m soooo excited!
Now back to business……….
