It’s so surreal! After about three years of blogging, I finally received an official affiliate check. It actually came in form of a Paypal deposit that I discovered this morning and I was instantly over the moon.
This post contains affiliate links. Please see my policies for more information.
I initially started Loving the Simple Things, this blog, as an outlet for my DIY Home Decor projects and my intent was not to make an income from it. Until about a year ago that my time opened up a bit more and I decided I wanted to earn from this blog.
I recently published a post about my blog journey and the resources I would recommend to new bloggers, and trust me, MagicLinks would be first on my list. The reason why MagicLinks is number one on my list is because they don’t require you to have a blog to become an affiliate. They will accept your application even if all you have is a social media account. The application process is also very short, easy and straightforward. Unlike some other affiliate platforms that are difficult to use and understand. MagicLinks gives you access to a long list of categories and vendors.
I personally use this blog and my Pinterest account to post links and my experience has been close to none. The money I earned for this last period is not a lot, but it’s enough to cover the cost for running my blog for a year. A cost I’ve always had to pay out of pocket. Now, I can say my blog pays for itself and I plan to set higher goals and eventually earn a profit every month going forward.
So please, if you have one or multiple social media platform accounts, a blog or several website, sign up for MagicLinks. You will not regret it!
