I’m sure you, my lovely readers, have seen those beautifully styled chinoiserie vases on Pinterest. They are beautiful as singles, but even better as a collection.
Those vases and ginger jars can be quite expensive, (don’t believe me, look here) so I decided to DIY one to save some bucks and you can too!
Here are a few examples. I especially like the geometric ones like these (click on the caption below the images):
To create a DIY Chinoiserie Geometric Vase, you will need:
1| A glass vase
2| Blue and white geometric print (I used home decor fabric, but I think a simple cotton fabric would work better)
3| Mod podge
4| A brush

Follow the instructions below to create a DIY Chinoiserie Geometric Vase:
1| Wipe and dry the exterior of the glass vase
2| Cut the fabric into smaller pieces
3| Apply a think layer of mod podge on a small section of the vase and paste a piece of fabric on the section. Continue this process until the whole exterior is covered.
4| Let the vase dry for a few hours
5| Apply a second coat of mod podge to make sure that all the piece of fabric have adhered well to the vase.
6| Let the vase dry for a few hours
7| Add real or faux flowers
